Our Story:

Since 1985, the residents of Tidewater have turned to our expert team for the remodeling needs of over 6,000 homes. The experience we have gained during this wonderful relationship has made us the top full service remodeling company in the area. Winning over 100 "Best of" Virginia Pilot Reader's Choice Awards among many other accolades.

Over the years we've gone through quite a few changes, while always maintaining the same high quality that Tidewater families have come to depend on. In the 1980s, we began operating as Quality Contracting, and then became Universal Living in the 1990s. A little over ten years ago we purchased a Case Handyman & Remodeling franchise, but in our continuing efforts to best serve the needs of the Tidewater community, we have decided to branch away from Case and call ourselves what we really have always been - Jerry Harris Remodeling.
